As an 18-year-old high school student, I know far too well how absorbed teenagers are in social networking. A top priority for teens every day is to keep friends updated on their new piercing, or last weekend's wild party.
It may be entertaining now, but are kids really acting in their best interest by sharing so much personal information? Many teens don't realize that it is easy for a potential employer to find out if they have been a responsible individual.
Not all teenagers choose to expose themselves to their 1,457 Facebook friends, but those who do may be paying a price when it comes to starting a career.
