Box Elder County law enforcement officials are ramping up their investigation into a series of arson fires.

Tremonton police Det. Andy Marchant said the latest intentionally set blaze occurred early Friday morning when someone torched a shed near 750 North and First East.

Marchant said Monday that investigators believe the same suspect or suspects who set that fire are responsible for three others over the past few weeks, two of them involving vehicles and another a shed.

No injuries have been reported.

All the fires were set within half a mile of Bear River High School in neighboring Garland.

Marchant said police have questioned several people, but as of Monday they had not identified a suspect or suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tremonton police at 435-257-9553 or Garland police at 435-257-3131.
