The Utah Transit Authority is sponsoring its 18th annual Bike Bonanza on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gallivan Plaza in downtown Salt Lake City. It includes free food, live music, a children's bike rodeo, a bicycle-fashion show and a raffle for such prizes as bicycles and gear bags. The UTA Police also will share information about safety around railways.

The first 75 children at the event will receive a free helmet. Free water bottles will be given to the first 300 people.
