Women's volleyball: Westminster signs 3 athletes

Cassandra Fenton, Mayra Ramirez and Mandy Taft have committed to play volleyball for coach Kim Norman and Westminster College.

Fenton, Helendale, Calif., a 5-foot-7 setter, was named First Team Desert Sky League as a senior. She is a member of the National Honor Society.

Ramirez, Calle, Columbia, played two seasons at Salt Lake Community College. The 6-foot-2 middle blocker was named First Team All-SWAC last season for the Bruins after leading the team with 95 blocks. She recorded 222 kills and hit .378 while helping SLCC to a second-place finish in the SWAC regular season.

Taft, Sandy, attended Brighton Highl. She is a 5-foot-11 outside hitter who was named the Brighton Athlete of the Season.
