The Salt Lake City law firm of Jones Waldo has elected Adam T. Mow and Travis Marc Wilson as its newest shareholders. Mow, a graduate of the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law, has been practicing construction law in the real estate department. Wilson has practiced business and real estate law at Jones Waldo since he graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2003.
The National Association of Credit Management, Intermountain Business Credit Services, announced that credit professional DeAnna Leahy of Sunroc Corp. was elected board chair. ReBecca Poulsen of Henriksen Butler Design was elected vice chair and Shane Inglesby of Geneva Rock Products treasurer. Douglas Darrington of Kilgore Companies, Lisa Keller of Peck Striping and Carolyn Thompson of Meadow Gold Dairies were elected to the board. NACM works with companies to support, educate and assist those involved in the day-to-day business of making credit decisions and collecting accounts receivable.
Arches Health Plan, a nonprofit insurance company and co-op owned solely by its members, announced that Eric Sorenson has become the newest member of its executive team, as chief information officer and chief information security officer. Sorenson brings more than 15 years of experience in health care technology and information security to Arches.
ThomasARTS, a marketing company with offices in Utah, New York, California, Minnesota and Texas, has announced that Jeff Olsen has joined the agency as creative director, in its Farmington office. He will be responsible for managing the creative development process for a number of regional and national clients, as well as providing creative support for the agency's other offices nationally.
Security Service Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Renae Cunningham to assistant vice president of member service for the Northern Utah district. Cunningham has more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. She previously worked for Beehive Credit Union, which merged with Security Service in 2010.
Obstetrician and gynecologist Virginia Homewood has joined Copper Canyon Women's Center in West Valley City. It is a member of Physician Group of Utah. A Salt Lake native, Homewood earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Zions Bank has promoted Stephanie Horne to direct its private banking division. Horne joined Zions Bank in 1997 as an executive banking relationship manager. Since 2003, she has served as a senior vice president and private banking relationship manager. She previously worked at First Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo Bank as a customer service manager and premier banking officer.
Gonzalo Stevens and Thane Smith, with Suburban Land Reserve, Salt Lake City, recently earned the CCIM, or Certified Commercial Investment Member, designation from the CCIM Institute, a leading commercial real estate association.
The law firm of Clyde Snow & Sessions has hired Wayne Z. Bennett as a director in its Salt Lake City office. Bennett, a shareholder, will focus his practice on business, banking, tax and estate planning.
