That's four, not fore.

After winning titles in 2010, 2011 and 2012, Desert Hills High School added a fourth consecutive Class 3A girls' golf title to its trophy case.

Led by Katie Perkins' tournament-best 72, the Thunder rolled to the championship Thursday at Schneiter's Riverside Golf Course.

Perkins and teammates Megan Welch, Kyla Smith and Lindsey Short combined for a Stableford score of 337 on the day. The Thunder saw four golfers finish in the tournament's top 10.

For Perkins, it was the second year in a row she was Class 3A's individual champion. Welch, meanwhile, took second with a 74.

Pine View's Bailey Callahan shot a 75, while Ogden's Xena Motes and Hurricane's Lani Lebaron both shot 77s.

Callahan's performance helped lift Pine View to a second-place finish. The Panthers combined for a team score of 305.

The Spanish Fork Dons, last year's runners-up, finished third. The Dons scored a 292, led by Sabrina Naulu's 82. —
