College softball: SLCC places 3 on All-American teams

Salt Lake Community College softball pitcher MaCauley Flint was selected to the NJCAA All-American first team, while two teammates, Malia Campos and Maddy Woodard, were second-team selections.

Flint, Roy, went 29-4 with a 1.39 earned-run average to help lead the Bruins (53-11) to the NJCAA Tournament, where they finished second for the third consecutive season. Flint fanned 271 batters in 232 innings.

Woodard, Murray, an infielder, batted .394 with 81 runs driven in, while Campos, an outfielder from Murray, had a team-high .455 average with 83 runs scored.
