Snowbird's ski season will last through Memorial Day once again.

The Little Cottonwood Canyon resort will operate the Tram and Little Cloud lift for skiers and snowboarders from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday through Monday. Lift tickets will cost $65, said Snowbird vice president of operations Dave Fields, advising riders to "ride the Tram down at the end of the day due to melting conditions on the lower part of the mountain."

He noted that Snowbird will finish with a 182-day season. It received 410 inches of snow this winter.

The resort will have live music from noon to 3 p.m. daily during the extended weekend, a costume contest and other activities for Monday's finale.
