Summertime reading • The Davis County Library system will host a "mini" book sale 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Central Branch, 155 N. Wasatch Drive (south of Layton High School on the west side of the street). The sale will include paperbacks for 25 cents and hardbacks for $1. Audio books, DVDs and videos also will be on sale. The library accepts only cash and checks.

North Salt Lake

Time to tee off • Rocky Mountain Care Foundation is holding its annual Lee R. Bangerter Memorial Fundraising Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 11, at Eaglewood Golf Course, 1110 E. Eaglewood Drive. Summer pops concert • Enjoy scores from popular musicals and movies at "Musical Mania," a free concert by the Davis County Symphony beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Foxboro Regional Park, 1100 N. Skipton Drive. The symphony is an all-volunteer group of musicians.
