The host San Antonio Talons stopped the Utah Blaze on a 2-point conversion attempt with 55 seconds remaining Monday to win their Arena Football League game 42-41.

The Blaze (4-6) scored on Ben Stallings' 4-yard run in the final minute to pull within a point, but Stallings got stopped at the goal line on the ensuing conversion attempt.

The Blaze lost by a single point for the second straight week; they lost to San Jose 35-34 on May 25.

Utah quarterback Tommy Grady was 25 for 36 for 248 yards and three touchdowns, with two interceptions. Mario Urrutia led Utah's receivers with 13 catches for 101 yards and a TD.

With the win, the Talons (5-5) avenged their loss to the Blaze in the first round of last season's playoffs.

San Antonio's Xavier Lee completed 16 of 30 passes for 207 yards and four touchdowns.
