Two fake cops have the full attention of real law officers after having held up a Salt Lake City jewelry store at gunpoint.

Police say the suspects, claiming to be lawmen, wore matching light blue polo type shirts with dark pants. They took an unspecified amount of jewelry from the Jewelers Guild, 703 E. 600 South, at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday.

Employees complied with the pair's demands and no one was hurt. The suspects then left the store, but there was no description of a getaway vehicle.

The first suspect was a black male adult, 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-6, 220-240 pounds, and with dreadlocks pulled back into a pony tail.

The second suspect was a white male adult, about 6-foot-2 and 200-220 pounds.
