Hitting the trifecta

In "Gun-toting Utah teachers to parents: Your kids safe with us" (Tribune, May 19), Paul Smith, a junior high teacher in Davis County, stated that teachers packing heat show more patience and control, and to top it off, they are "more trustworthy … because we've got that constant check on our moral compass."

By displaying arrogance, hubris and fear all at the same moment, Smith has brought multitasking to an entirely new level.
