Clearfield police are searching for a Marlboro cigarette aficionado who robbed a smoke shop at gun point Tuesday.

Police said the man went into Smokey's Discount Cigarette Store, 1580 S. State Street, about 3:15 p.m. carrying a large revolver. He demanded money from the employee and then stashed the stolen funds in a blue and black backpack strapped to his chest.

He also stole several boxes of Marlboro cigarettes before fleeing west from the shop, police said.

The man is described as white in his 20s or 30s, with a shaved head. He was dressed in long, dark-colored shorts, a dark colored shirt with No. 87 written in white on the back of the hoodie he used to cover his head and face.

He also had a black tattoo on his right forearm and a blue satchel on his waist.

Police said the man should be considered dangerous as he is armed with a large-caliber revolver.
