Gymnasts earn academic honors

Utah's Hailee Hansen and Southern Utah's Caitlin Kennedy earned places on the Academic All-American team, as voted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Kennedy was a second-team selection, while Hansen made the at-large third team.
Hansen, a 2013 All-American on uneven bars, carries a 3.958 cumulative grade-point average in mass communication and earned a 4.0 spring semester.
Kennedy finished her undergraduate degree in exercise science in three years, maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
