Terrible sixth inning sinks Salt Lake

Colorado hit a two-run homer and a grand slam during a 10-run sixth inning, wiping out the Bees' 9-1 lead en route to a 15-9 victory Tuesday in PCL baseball.

Roberto Lopez hit an RBI double in the second inning to give the Bees (33-33) a 4-0 lead.

Trent Oeltjen led off the sixth with a solo home run and Efren Navarro drive in two runs with a double for what appeared to be an insurmountable Bees' lead. But the Sky Sox (35-28) responded in the bottom half of the inning, scoring 10 runs on six hits while benefiting from two walks, a wild pitch and a fielding error.

Tommy Field had three hits for Salt Lake.
