Real Salt Lake captain Kyle Beckerman has been added to the United States' roster ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The midfielder, who has 25 caps for the U.S. in his career, was added to the roster Friday afternoon by coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
Beckerman will join his club teammate Nick Rimando for training with the national team in Utah this weekend. The U.S. will play Honduras Tuesday night before a sellout crowd in Sandy.
The U.S. sits in first place midway through the final round of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
