NBA: Jazz will work out 12, including UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad

The Utah Jazz will work out 12 players Monday as the team continues preparations for the NBA Draft on June 27. Among the players participating will be UCLA guard Shabazz Muhammad, Duke forward Mason Plumlee, Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. and Missouri guard Phil Pressey.

Muhammad averaged 17.9 points per game last season as a freshman with the Bruins. He is considered a likely lottery pick.

Also taking part in the workout will be Butler's Andrew Smith, USC's Dewayne Dedmon, North Carolina's Dexter Strickland, Illinois State's Tyler Brown, Princeton's Ian Hummer, Georgia Tech's Mfron Udofia, Brazilian Lucas Nogueira and Azusa Pacific's B.J. Porter.

A transfer from Weber State, Porter attended high school at Layton Christian.
