Thanks to an exemption, Ogden native and BYU golfer Zac Blair will play the Web.com's Utah Championship on July 11-14 at Willow Creek Country Club.

In 2009, Blair won the Utah State Amateur. He's also won the Cache Valley Amateur, the Salt Lake City Amateur, the Coral Canyon Amateur and 2011 Pacific Northwest Amateur. Blair was the Utah Golf Association's Player of the Year four years in a row beginning in 2009 and holds the distinction of winning six straight tournaments.

"I am very excited to play my first PGA TOUR event at this year's Utah Championship," Blair said. "I'm looking forward to seeing how my game stacks up with some of the best professionals in the game. It is an honor to be selected for this exemption. I would like to thank the committee for giving me this great opportunity."
