Sacramento high school MVP De'Sean Parsons signed a letter of intent to play for the Salt Lake Community College men's basketball team.

Parsons, a 6-foot-6-inch forward who played for Grant Union High, was named Delta League Most Valuable Player in his senior season and was a Division II First Team All-State player.

As a senior, Parsons averaged 18.1 points and eight rebounds a game and was selected as the Delta Valley All-Metro Player-of-the-Year as he helped lead the Pacers to a 23-9 overall record and an 8-2 mark in league play.
