Shrinking Trib

I have read that daily local newspapers are losing readers at an alarming rate. This morning's thin Monday, June 24, Tribune provides an answer. The paper has been drastically reduced by combining sections, eliminating news, crowding items together and in general making it unworthy to be called a newspaper.

If this was the only example, one could excuse it, but this is true most Mondays. Even Sunday papers seem to omit as much news as possible.

If it were not that the paper has some items of interest I would cancel my subscription.
