Shut up and fix it

It is so refreshing to know that once you are elected you suddenly are imbued with total knowledge.

The Trib has covered Rep. Jason Chaffetz talking about crime, Libya, the National Security Agency, immigration, prisons and many other topics. It would seem you are his campaign headquarters, running his press releases.

Most of the time, Chaffetz is simply echoing conservative dogma. I fail to understand how you can consider that newsworthy.

I would much more love to hear solutions to problems, and not his constant jabbing at the president, who he seems to constantly bemoan.

I have yet to hear Chaffetz propose a solution to any of the multitude of issues we have as a country. He just tells us what he does not like.

Republicans control the U.S. House of Representatives. If they don't like something, they should fix it. Don't just keep voting again and again to outlaw the Affordable Care Act. Come up with solutions.
