Neumont campus in downtown Salt Lake City marks debut

With classes beginning July 8, Neumont University has officially marked the opening of its new campus in the historic Ezra Thompson building in downtown Salt Lake City.
The campus, in the former Salt Lake Tribune building at 143 S. Main St., features custom-designed classrooms, innovation labs, multiple student common areas and seven floors of on-campus housing for 100 students.
Neumont expects to bring more than 500 students, staff and faculty to the downtown campus.
The private university, founded in Salt Lake City in 2003, focuses on computer science and related disciplines, such as information systems, game development and Web design.
