Canyons Resort July 3rd Celebration
Canyons Resort and its partner, People's Health Clinic (the community-supported, volunteer-driven medical clinic that serves Wasatch and Summit counties) will kick off the July 3rd festivities at 3 p.m., with free family-oriented music and activities throughout the Resort Village. DJ Velvet will begin spinning tunes on the Mountain Stage at 5 p.m. The Soulistics will perform at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks display is set to go off at approximately 9:30 p.m. Visit bit.ly/14SPcaQ for information. $5 for parking.

Riverton Town Days
The Riverton Parks and Recreation department will sponsor Riverton Town Days which includes a two-day carnival; a parade on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Jazz band concert and free movie. Tooele festivities

The City of South Salt Lake will hold its annual Freedom Fest on Wednesday, and 4th of July Parade on Thursday. There will be fireworks Wednesday at the old Granite High School campus. The July 4th Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center (2280 S. 300 East) and will end at Fitts Park (3050 S. 500 East).

America's Freedom Festival Grand Parade
America's Freedom Festival Grand Parade, the largest of its kind in the state of Utah, highlights freedom through bands, professionally crafted floats, giant helium balloons and local and national performers. The parade begins at 960 N. University Ave. and proceeds south to 100 S. and then turns east to 200 E. From there it turns north to Center St. and then turns east and ends at 900 East.
