UHP: Millard County rollover kills one

The Utah Highway Patrol was trying Friday to identify a man who died in a rollover accident on State Route 125 in Millard County.

UHP Cpl. Todd Johnson said the crash occurred about 7 p.m. Thursday near mile post 14 when the southbound man drifted off the left side of the southbound lane and into a culvert. The impact launched his pickup truck into the northbound lane, where it rolled several times.

The victim was wearing his seat belt, Johnson said, but the violence of the accident caused his body to slip out of the vehicle. He was found dead at the scene, his body in the truck's cargo area.
