Re "Why the NSA put a data center in Utah" (Tribune, June 29):
Why isn't there a huge array of solar panels on that immense expanse of flat roof on the new National Security Agency data center in Bluffdale?
Can the second-driest state in the nation seriously condone the use of more than 1,210 gallons of water per minute to keep its computers cool? We've been placated with the story that the water will be reused to water Bluffdale parks. How many minutes of water will it take to turn Bluffdale's parks into lakes?
If some entity somewhere wants to blow the United States off the face of the Earth, wouldn't a logical start be eliminating the NSA data centers?
