A toddler nearly drowned in a kiddie pool Monday afternoon in the Bull River area of Highland.

The 1-year-old apparently fell into a blow-up kiddie pool, said Lone Peak fire Capt. Joe McRae.

When she was found, she was blue and unconscious, McRae said. An uncle revived her by performing back blows, McRae said.

She was crying and conscious when medics arrived. She was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center and was expected to survive.
