Stephenson turns red

Sen. Howard Stephenson, R-Draper, has good reason to feel embarrassed, not by the Utah House of Representatives' investigation of John Swallow, but by his own reluctance to do so. ("Sen. Howard Stephenson 'embarrassed' by House probe of Swallow," Tribune, July 7.)
When a supermajority of Utah voters and House members are screaming for action on this issue, Stephenson's hesitation to act flies in the face of the voters who elected him to represent them.
Did Swallow's code of ethics suddenly change upon his election to attorney general? I tend to think not.
