Vernal police investigate possible homicide

Vernal police are investigating the possible homicide of a man over the weekend.

Officers and medical personnel responded to a residence at Pheasant Glen Condos, 1350 W. 150 North, about 6 a.m. Saturday, where they found Christopher Alan Miller, 52, dead in the living room, according to a news release.

Miller's injuries were consistent with a fight, though what killed him is still under investigation. Besides probing the circumstances surrounding Miller's death, investigators are awaiting autopsy results from the state medical examiner.

Police have not yet identified a suspect.
