The Utes landed a big in-state recruit Monday with Kyle Christiansen, a 6-foot-4, 320-pound lineman out of Mountain Crest H.S., committing to the Utes. Christiansen said he will go on a mission in January before joining the Utes, but is solid in his commitment. "I couldn't be happier," he said. "I wanted to do this now so I can focus on my senior year." Christiansen had offers from Utah State, BYU and Hawaii. He said he went with the Utes because of the atmosphere. "There is a lot of team unity there and that is what I want," he said. - Lya Wodraska
