Zion's cracker box

I agree with Phillip W. Johnson ("Cost of ugly," Forum, July 9) that the new federal courthouse is the ugliest building in Salt Lake City. But it does fit into the mostly cracker-box architecture of the city and reflects much of Zion's demeanor — unimaginative, drab, colorless, square and plain.
