Nearly 1,200 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Salt Lake County were briefly without electricity Wednesday morning.
The utility said the outage, reported about 7:15 a.m., affected areas of Midvale and Sandy within the 84070 and 84047 zip codes.
Repair crews were dispatched and full service was restored by 7:35 a.m.
Rocky Mountain officials said the outage was caused by birds who landed, or flew into transmission equipment.
