A semi-truck hauling propane crashed on State Road 30, shutting down 12 miles of it from Bear Lake to near the Wyoming line.

The semi crashed in Laketown, which is near the south end of the lake, sometime after 11 a.m., according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Details of the crash were not immediately available.

Crews have closed SR 30 from mile post 120 to mile post 132, the Sage Creek Junction, until they can siphon all of the propane to another truck.

UDOT did not expect to reopen that stretch of SR 30 until late Saturday.
