Rocky Mountain Power crews acted quickly to restore service to more than 1,000 Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake residents left without electricity this weekend.
Rocky Mountain Power spokesman David Eskelsen said the outage, which hit at 6:17 p.m. Sunday, had been addressed by 2:22 a.m. Monday. All but 250 of the 1,026 customers affected were back on line by 8:23 p.m. Sunday, he added.
At least one power line was reported to have come down, but Eskelsen said Monday that the cause remained under investigation.
