John Densmore of The Doors will sign books at the Taylorsville Graywhale (4700 S. Redwood Road in West Valley City) on July 27 at 2 p.m.

The drummer of the Doors will sign his book The Doors Unhinged. The book is said to cover his legal wars with the then-surviving members of The Doors over the use of the name The Doors for a tour, as well as the drummer's veto over a 2003 offer by Cadillac to buy the rights to The Doors' "Break on Through" for $15 million.

Densmore wrote his autobiography Riders On The Storm in 1990.
