Pilots with the 388th and 419th fighter wings at Hill Air Force Base will be conducting F-16 night flying missions through July 26 as pilots continue to sharpen their night-time combat skills.
During operations, personnel of the active-duty 388th and Air Force Reserve 419th train with advanced targeting pods and night vision goggles.
The wings limit their night operations to what is required to remain proficient in night-flying training.
Missions are conducted Monday through Friday from the early evening until shortly after midnight.
