• British '80s pop singer Adam Ant performs at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Prima Donna. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $30, at Smith's Tix.

• '80s soundtrack god Kenny Loggins performs at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Blue Sky Riders (a folk-pop trio that includes Loggins). Show starts at 7:30. The show is sold out.

• American '80s pop act Huey Lewis and the News will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the "Sports" album, with a show at the Sandy Amphitheater, 9400 S. 1300 East, Sandy. Show starts at 8. Tickets, from $35 to $49, available at Smith's Tix.

• Rapper/spoken-word artist Dessa performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Sims, Pat Maine. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $14, at 24Tix.

• The Days of '47 Parade takes place Wednesday through downtown Salt Lake City. The parade starts at 9 a.m. at the corner of State Street and South Temple, goes east a block to 200 East, then south to 900 South, then east again to Liberty Park. No public bleachers seats this year.
