Blaze beat Iowa to halt losing skid

Tommy Grady threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns, and Dejay Lester caught seven passes for 66 yards and two TDs as the Utah Blaze snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the Iowa Barnstormers 55-41 Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Chase Deadder caught seven passes for 65 yards and a touchdown for the Blaze, who forced three Iowa turnovers.

Utah scored 21 points in the second quarter and led 52-35 after Brady connected with Lester on a 13-yard touchdown pass with just under three minutes remaining in the game.

The Blaze (6-11) finish their season at home against the Cleveland Gladiators at 7 p.m. next Saturday.
