The Salt Lake scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and beat the Fresno Grizzlies 9-7 on Monday night in a Pacific Coast League game at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

Fresno had taken a 7-6 lead in the top of the seventh on a two-run single by Todd Linden when Matt Long drew a one out walk in the bottom of the inning. With two out, Efren Navarro walked and Chris Nelson hit a high bouncer to first and was ruled safe at first on a close play. While the Grizzlies were arguing, both Long and Navarro scored to give the Bees an 8-7 lead. Luis Rodriguez followed with a double to drive in Nelson. Buddy Boshers walked two of the first three batters in the top of the ninth, but he closed out the game by striking out the final two batters to earn his first Triple-A save.

Chad Cordero (2-2) worked one and one-third scoreless inning to pick up the victory. Navarro and Nelson led the Bees with two hits and two runs batted in apiece. Long had one hit, a leadoff homer in the third inning, and one RBI, while Rodriguez had one hit and one RBI. Andrew Romine added a pair of singles to extend his hitting streak to thirteen games, as the Bees pick up their third consecutive win.
