Friends of former University of Utah skiing coach Pat Miller will gather Wednesday in Salt Lake City to celebrate his life and legacy.

Miller, who died in June at age 64, coached the Utes from 1974-99, winning eight NCAA championships in the combined men's and women's competition.

The potluck event is scheduled from 5:30-9 p.m. at Canyon Rim Pavilion (3100 S. 3100 East). Friends are asked to bring their own drinks and food to share.
