Mharina Acciaio, a 16-year-old girl reported missing after she failed to return home after a shopping trip at City Creek Center, has been found.

Salt Lake City police said the teen, who was reported missing July 17, returned home Sunday and appeared to be unharmed.

Detectives said they are investigating where Acciaio was during the past two weeks and were not releasing any other details Monday.

The 16-year-old was last seen about July 16 after her father dropped her off at the downtown Salt Lake City mall.

Police had asked for the public's help in locating the girl.
