Chicago • The Chicago Cubs have recalled right-handed pitcher Jake Arrieta from Triple-A Iowa.

He is scheduled to start the second game of Tuesday's day-night doubleheader against the Milwaukee Brewers and will serve as the club's 26th man.

The 27-year-old Arrieta was acquired in the deal that sent Scott Feldman to Baltimore early this month and is 1-2 with a 4.03 ERA in five starts with Iowa. He was 20-25 with a 5.46 ERA in 69 major league appearances before Tuesday's start.
