One-party government

Recent letters to the editor are showing the frustration many of us have with the temper tantrums of Sen. Mike Lee and the disparity between his financial experience and his approach to government's problems.

The idea of shutting down the government instead of cooperating to fix it is no less than stupid.

However I believe that two good aspects of his utterances can be recognized. First, he makes Rep. Jason Chaffetz look more rational by comparison.

Second, he is an example for all Utah citizens to see that there needs to be more balance and cooperation in our representation both at state and federal level.

The dominance of one party allows elected officials to develop devotion to party over country and that is the biggest danger ever met by this great country.
