A Salt Lake City woman remained in critical condition on Wednesday, two days after she crashed into a barrier wall on Interstate 15.

Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson identified the woman as Cheryl Wilson, 36. She was not believed to be wearing a seat belt and was ejected through a car window when she crashed about 4 p.m. Monday on the northbound off-ramp at 3300 South.

Wilson's condition was reported to be unchanged Wednesday at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

Johnson said the accident remained under investigation, but troopers were pursuing the case as one of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
