Real Salt Lake midfielder Javier Morales has been named to the MLS All-Star team, but he will not play in Wednesday's game.

Morales was one of a dozen players added to the team's inactive list ahead of the exhibition matchup with AS Roma in Kansas City, Kan.

Morales has had his best season for RSL since suffering a broken ankle in May 2011. The midfielder has scored five goals and leads the team with seven assists.

Former Real Salt Lake defender Jamison Olave, now with the New York Red Bulls, also was named to the inactive list.

Salt Lake's Kyle Beckerman is expected to start the match. His teammates Nick Rimando and Tony Beltran should see time as well. —
