Chicago • What organizers say is the first-of-its kind hall of fame for gay and lesbian athletes in the United States is set to induct its inaugural class in Chicago.

Among those being inducted Friday night into the National Gay & Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame are tennis greats Billie Jean King and Martina Navratilova, Olympic diving champion Greg Louganis and former Major League umpire Dave Pallone.

On Saturday, the Cubs will host an event called "Out at Wrigley" at the iconic ballpark. Organizers say they plan to raise money and ultimately find a building to house the hall of fame in Chicago.
