My daughter is a teacher at Granger High School. Recently she took my wife and me on a tour of the new school. After that tour there is only one word to describe the new school: "Magnificent!"

The overall design, open common spaces, the gym, the auditorium, the swimming pool, the new classrooms and new equipment all will contribute to encourage a learning experience that will set an example of what can be done when the citizens of this county decide to fund education. Eighty million dollars was a huge amount of money. This was money well spent. The new Granger High will be a great asset to West Valley City and to the students who attend this great school.

Well done to the citizens of Salt Lake County, Granite School District, the Granger High principal and his staff and the teachers and students who will make this school a shining example of what can be accomplished.
