A man had to be airlifted to the hospital Friday evening after his co-worker beat him up.

The two men, ages 32 and 27, were making deliveries together in Smithfield Canyon when they began fighting, according to the Cache County Sheriff's Office. During the altercation, the 32-year-old man sustained "substantial injuries," the sheriff's office reports. He was taken via helicopter to an Ogden area hospital.

The Woods Cross Police Department initially held the 27-year-old man. The Cache County Sheriff's Office later took him into custody. He was arrested on suspicion of one count of aggravated assault, and may face other charges. Police are still investigating the incident.
