The 4th annual Heber Valley Fly Fishing Festival is being held Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Midway Mountain Village Park, 100 S. Johnston's Mill Road, in MidwayThe festival, sponsored by Four Seasons Fly Fishers, is free. Activities include clinics, equipment demonstrations, vendor and non-profit booths and the Provo River Kids Fly Fishing Derby. The catch-and-release derby is open to youth ages 15 and under and will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in each groups. Pre-registration for the derby is available at Four Seasons Fly Fishers or at the Utah Trout Unlimited booth Saturday morning. Other sponsors of the event include High County Fly Fishers, Fall River Flyrods and The Stonefly Society.
