Sage Lin Chi's ninth century metaphorically deadly aphorism not withstanding, but its just too hot not to be nice: Wednesday's temperatures will range from the mid-90s to near 100 degrees from northern to southern Utah, respectively.

The National Weather Service predicts isolated thunderstorms north to south, but little precipitation is expected from those angry clouds darting into and out of the Beehive State's horizons.

And Wednesday, as was Tuesday, was a good day to get outdoors with air quality statewide rated as "Green," or healthy by the Utah Division of Air Quality. The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website, meanwhile, reported only chenopod pollens at "high" levels.

Salt Lake City looked for a high temperature Wednesday of 94 degrees, compared to Tuesday's 96-degree forecast; Ogden expected 91 and 93 degrees, respectively; Provo, Logan and Wendover all looked for 92s on Wednesday, a degree cooler than Tuesday; Duchesne 82 and 85; Cedar City 85 and 84; St. George 98 and 97; and Moab 84 and 91 degrees.
