A woman and three children were injured after a collision in a Magna intersection Wednesday afternoon.
Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said a man driving pickup was headed east on 3500 South when he allegedly ran a red light and collided with a minivan driven by a 27-year-old woman with a 12-year-old, 5-year-old and 11-month-old as passengers. The woman was headed south on 8000 West.
The t-bone style collision caused injuries to all four people in the minivan, including the 5-year-old child, who was taken via helicopter to Primary Children's Medical Center in serious condition, according to United Fire Authority Capt. Clint Mecham. The woman and the two other children were taken via ambulance to other area hospitals in fair condition, Mecham said.
Hoyal said police would screen charges against the driver of the pickup, who was not seriously injured.
